Ordering from us is simple and safe. Just browse through our online catalog where you will find details on each item with its price. All prices on our web site are in US dollars. To add an item to your shopping cart, simply click on the shopping basket beside each product.
You will then see the contents of your shopping cart, including the item you have just added. You can change the quantity of the items you have ordered or remove an item from your shopping cart (by changing the quantity to zero). You can then return to continue your shopping or proceed to the payments area. If you continue shopping then when you are ready to check out, go back to your shopping cart by clicking on the VIEW BASKET link (top left).
Check your order and if you are satisfied, follow the instructions to enter your details and shipping information. You may choose to pay by credit card or by postal/money order in US dollars, paypal or by check in the mail, select the option you want when asked. If you pay by credit card you will be transferred to our secure server to enter your card information. Only use the credit card on file option if you have specifically asked us to keep a record of your card details. We do not keep store card details unless requested.
Orders are processed using industry-standard SSL encryption. All credit card numbers are encrypted (scrambled) while they are transmitted across the Internet and when they are stored on disk for processing. Click on the THAWTE logo on the left navigation bar to verify our SSL provider.
If you prefer to pay by check, you can still order online. When you are asked for method of payment select "check". Submit your order and post the check to the address shown below. Your order will be shipped the day we clear the check. If we do not receive a check within 10 business days of the order date, we may cancel the order. Checks should be made out to 'ABC Stitch Therapy'. Sorry - only personal checks drawn on US bank accounts accepted, but if you are overseas or if you don't want to wait for the check to clear you can send postal/money orders or bank checks instead.
We also accept Paypal. If you choose this option you will be asked to enter your Paypal account email address. When your order is ready to be shipped we will then request payment from you through Paypal. Paypal will send you an email at that time letting you know that you have a money request. You then need to log into your paypal account and pay the request.
An automatic email confirmation, along with an order number, will be sent to you upon processing of your order provided you have entered a valid email address (please carefully check your email, otherwise we may not be able to contact you). You may inquire about your order's status at any time using our contact form. We receive hundreds of emails each day, please allow at least 48 hours for a reply, although in many cases it will be sooner.
Whilst we endeavor to as many items as possible listed at this site, it is impossible to have every item on hand - sometimes items are out of stock and will need to be ordered in, and some kits are only requested from our suppliers only after your order has been placed (special order). We place orders with our suppliers everyday, our chart orders arrive from our supplier every 2 or 3 days and any delays in shipping your order will be kept to a minimum.We keep a large number of kits in stock but most kits ordered are ordered as they are requested and arrive in our store usually within a week of our ordering them. Kits from Anchor, Lanarte, Eva Rosenstand, Thea Gouverner, Beth Russell and Heritage are all imported, some ship very quick as our suppliers or ourselves may have them in stock but the majority of them take a little longer as we wait for them to come in. Your patience is appreciated during this wait.
Generally we do not charge your credit card until the items ship however we do reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the order total in the case of larger orders and special ordered kits. Often we will partially ship an order (where the backordered item will hold the order up for a longer time than both we and our customer would prefer). In some of these cases we will charge the card for the total amount - leaving the customer with a credit which will be used when the backordered item comes in.
While we make every attempt to ensure all the prices on this site are correct, in the rare event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to not complete the order in such an event.
